FinTech Software-as-a-Service company HighRadius, which works to automate the order-to-cash process, has added a new chief financial officer in Scott Buxton, a press release says.
Buxton previously worked for cloud application monitoring platform Datadog as VP of finance, where he led the company to a $9 billion valuation and a current market capitalization of upwards of $25 billion, with the number of employees growing from 100 to 2,000 during his tenure, the release says.
For HighRadius, Buxton will be responsible for the company’s global finance and accounting organization, alongside corporate development and dealing with investor relations.
The press release says now is a “crucial time” for HighRadius, and Buxton is joining as the company readies for a period of growth expansion.
“Finding a finance leader to join as CFO has been a top priority in order to strengthen our executive team with competencies to grow the business on a global scale,” said Sashi Narahari, President and CEO of HighRadius. “Scott’s broad experience is a perfect match to support continued growth.”
Buxton said he was looking forward to “building on its excellent go-to-market strategy and helping drive further operational excellence and growth for this incredible company.”
“HighRadius has an impressive brand, a dedicated team, supportive and engaged customers, and has continued its innovation in the order-to-cash and treasury space,” he said, according to the release.
HighRadius recently partnered with American Express to boost transitions to more digital processes away from the manual ones of old, particularly as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to shift processes in a digital direction.
The partnership will allow merchants using AmEx to utilize the HighRadius integrated platform, which is digital and will help to save time and cut costs.
HighRadius also rolled out its HighRadius A/R suite to boost accounts receivable (AR) automation in May. The suite offers services for cash reconciliation, eInvoicing, collections and credit risk assessment.
