U.K.-based Paynetics, which enables payment services, has partnered with Benamic, promotional campaign firm, in order to put out a corporate card program, according to a Crowdfund Insider report.
Paynetics’ mobile-first digital cards will come with a rewards engine and will be compatible with both Apple Pay and Google Pay, the report stated. They will run initially from a leading brand in the electricals sector.
Paynetics will also have an option for virtual branded cards embedded in a “plug-and-play” mobile application, with mobile payments enabled, according to the report. Additionally, there’s a new measure of convenience with a new corporate portal, which will let Benamic manage customer card transactions in real time.
According to Amanda Harrison, vice president and head of Business Development at Paynetics, the goal is to help boost payments.
“Together with our partners, we’re continuing our mission to simplify payments,” she said, according to the report. “We’re excited to see the success of this initial promotion and look forward to collaborating with other leading brands to innovate their product propositions.”
Benamic CEO Ann-Marie Smee said in the report that the partnership allows Benamic to “optimize our digital solutions in support of our client’s business objectives, enabling them to engage with their users in an easy and seamless way and to reward their loyalty.”
“Digitalization, as we know, isn’t just a trend but a new market reality, and, as our portfolio of services demonstrates, we utilize an array of tech to offer unmatched customer experiences,” she added, according to the report.
The transition to virtual cards for business is a fairly seamless one as professionals are used to using them in their personal lives. New B2B strategies involve migrating commercial cards and virtual cards to functions such as accounts payable (AP).
