The appointment is effective Oct. 18, and Ellington will oversee about 2,000 colleagues, the release stated.

American Express is offering new recipients of two of the company’s business cards new perks for signing up, CNBC reported.The Blue Business Plus Credit Card will provide double Membership Rewards points on purchases up to $50,000 per year, according to CNBC.“This is convenient for many as they do not need to track multiple credit cards and figure out various bonus spending categories,” CNBC reported.
