Nipendo, a provider of systems to automate payment processes, announced Saturday (Oct. 1) that it is making its Invoice All module available to suppliers that use the company’s Supplier Portal.
Invoice All is part of Nipendo’s cloud-based system for automating source-to-pay actions, the company said in a press release. The module also gives suppliers visibility into invoice management processes, and users receive a digital proof of receipt to ensure they have a record of whether an invoice was received and read.
This helps avoid “the need for tedious follow up,” and if something goes wrong, Nipendo said “the system resolves it autonomously and provides status updates.”
Alon Rosenberg, co-founder and chief technology officer of Nipendo, said the company’s service can reduce the time companies spend processing invoices by more than 80%.
“The platform doesn’t only automate processes — it includes automated process governance, compliance management, error–capture, discrepancy resolution, and much more,” Rosenberg continued.
Boston, Massachusetts-based Nipendo also stated that companies can reach “complete source-to-pay automation” in about three months, without the need to replace existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) or accounting systems.
Automation is playing an increasingly important role in invoicing and accounting functions, with two-thirds of firms either currently innovating their systems or planning to do so within the next 12 months, according to “ERP Solutions in B2B Payments,” a PYMNTS and American Express collaboration.
