App developer Unbound Commerce has produced a new app for RadonAway, a manufacturer and distributor of equipment for radon mitigation, according to a Monday (June 27) press release.
The purpose of the app is to make it easier for customers to order equipment from work sites. The app runs on iOS and Android and interacts with RadionAway’s existing deployment of Magento eCommerce software, per the announcement. The app’s functions, according to the developer, include customer-specific pricing, quick re-ordering and the providing of details about individual products. The app also provides in-app notifications to customers.
“By launching the B2B app, they now have a direct, always-on connection to these customers,” the announcement states.
RadonAway is based in Massachusetts and sold its first fan designed for us in radon mitigation 30 years ago. Parent company Spruce Environmental Technologies describes RadonAway as “the world’s larger distributor of radon mitigation fans and supplies.”
“We are rolling the app out to our customers and are already seeing solid rates of adoption. We have more features planned and see the app as a powerful addition to our omnichannel sales efforts,” David Naggar, vice president for technology and business development at Spruce Environmental Technologies, said in a prepared statement.
Spruce Environmental Technologies was founded 30 years ago and focuses on improving the quality of indoor air. In addition to being the parent company of RadonAway, Spruce is the parent company of: AccuStar Labs, a manufacturer and analyzer of radon test devices, and Air Chek, a radon testing laboratory in North Carolina.
