Traxo, a provider of real-time corporate travel data capture, has partnered with small and medium-sized business (SMB) booking tool Booking.com for Business.
The partnership’s offering will provide hundreds of thousands of Booking.com for Business clients with an expanded comprehensive travel visibility solution, the companies said in a Monday (Aug. 14) press release.
This solution, which enables greater oversight and enhances traveler safety, works by auto-detecting all bookings from any source — made via any travel point of sale — and integrating them into a travel administrator dashboard, according to the press release. The travel administrator dashboard contains a map displaying all active and upcoming trips, offering full travel visibility.
Additionally, clients can also send their travel data to a number of travel-related services and applications through Traxo’s Marketplace, a portfolio of pre-built integrations, the release said.
Andres Fabris, founder and CEO of Traxo, said in the release: “We’re thrilled to extend the visibility we offer to enterprise clients to Booking.com for Business clients through a self-service model. In today’s world, where having real-time visibility into employee travel is essential, this partnership represents a major leap forward for unmanaged programs. Traxo will continue innovating and making duty of care and travel data portability accessible to all.”
Joshua Wood, director of Booking.com for Business, added: “Our clients value comprehensive visibility into their travel program. Via this partnership with Traxo, Booking.com for Business customers will gain enhanced duty of care oversight, and travel data distribution tools, regardless of where bookings are made.”
The news comes four days after Traxo announced a partnership with Cornerstone Information Systems, a global leader in managing travel and expense operations.
That collaboration, designed to modernize corporate travel management, will bring together Traxo’s real-time, off-channel booking data and Cornerstone’s tools for bringing travel data into travel operations and using automation to maximize service and efficiency, the companies said.
