Data-driven delivery and fulfillment cloud platform Bringg announced it is expanding its third-party delivery offering, the Bringg Delivery Hub, to allow retailers to scale up their delivery capacity more quickly, according to a Tuesday (Nov. 9) press release.
The Bringg Delivery Hub will help retailers build and manage personalized delivery provider networks and retain ownership of their data, relationships and contracting terms, allowing third-party delivery providers to become an extension of their businesses and compiling performance data for continuous optimization and process improvement, the release stated.
“Delivery provider fragmentation makes it challenging for retailers to reach the right providers to effectively increase delivery capacity while supporting a myriad of unique order requirements,” said Bringg Senior Vice President of Product Management Raviv Chalamish in the release. “To remain operationally efficient and competitive, it is critical for all players to operate within an open, connected delivery and fulfillment ecosystem together. This will enable retailers and delivery providers alike to drive business growth, streamline delivery operations and increase customer lifetime value.”
The Bringg Delivery Hub now includes diverse provider selection and filtering through the catalog feature that includes geographical coverage, verticals served, delivery service levels, special services offered and methods of transport, according to the release.
Bringg’s Delivery Hub includes tools related to parcel delivery, last-mile transport, big and bulky and more. It also increases delivery provider management capabilities by contracting delivery providers directly (on the retailer’s terms) or having it managed by Bringg, which can also manage provider payments and disputes, the release stated.
Bringg’s Fleet Router takes cost, distance and the unique business needs of retailers into its decisions to dispatch orders between the right providers. Its new data analytics function helps retailers measure and optimize their providers’ performance, efficiency and customer experience in real time through a personal dashboard, according to the release.
