Instant delivery platform Gopuff is teaming up with U.K. supermarket giant Morrisons to quickly bring thousands of goods, including locally-made food products, to consumers across the country, according to a press release on Friday (March 25).
The multi-year partnership adds fresh food, Morrisons-branded items, and other brand name products to Gopuff’s platform for delivery in 30 minutes or less.
“Gopuff is an acknowledged leader and innovator in rapid delivery, and this partnership will enable us to deliver a very strong range of Morrisons fresh food and customer favorites to front doors across the U.K. in a matter of minutes,” said Morrisons CEO David Potts.
Both companies share a commitment to “delivering a truly local proposition.” The partnership gives customers access to popular local products, as well as brands Morrisons carries like Henderson’s Relish in Sheffield, Seabrook Crisps in the North and Sheldon’s Oven Bottom Muffins in Lancashire. Local brands that Gopuff carries will also be included.

“Morrisons’ product offering, sustained focus on supporting local producers and suppliers, as well as their relentless commitment to the customer, made this an ideal partnership for Gopuff,” said Gopuff co-founder and co-CEO Yakir Gola said.
“As we continue to expand Gopuff’s presence and product offering across the U.K., we’re proud to partner with one of the largest and most beloved brands in the market. Morrisons can now meet their loyal customers where they are, and we look forward to bringing local Gopuff customers access to more of the products they love,” Gola said.
Gopuff and Morrisons each have their own individual models so they can quickly pivot to meet changing customer needs. Gopuff handles the delivery supply chain while Morrisons controls manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing.
