Shipt Launches Offers and Personalized Dashboard for Members

Shipt has launched exclusive offers and a personalized dashboard for members.

These new benefits are available to both monthly and annual subscribers to the personal shopping and delivery service, Shipt said in a Tuesday (May 23) press release.

“Our members are core to what we do,” Shipt Chief Marketing Officer Alia Kemet said in the release. “We want them to know they’re appreciated and that Shipt will go above and beyond to add value to their lives from the very first moment they engage with us.”

The new perks offered by Shipt to its members include a four-month free trial to a SiriusXM Streaming plan, free shipping and no service charge from 1-800-FLOWERS.com and its affiliated brands.

These join existing membership benefits that include savings opportunities, free shopping and delivery on orders of $35 or more, and a Preferred Shoppers feature that lets members list their favorite shoppers and have those shoppers prioritized to handle orders, according to the press release.

In addition, the benefits are now easier to access via the new dashboard available on the website and the app.

“These current offerings are just the beginning and we’re looking forward to sharing more value exclusively with our members through the rest of this year,” Kemet said in the release.

The addition of these benefits comes about six weeks after Shipt launched hospitality partnerships that let traveling workers and extended stay guests access on-demand delivery of groceries and other items while they are out of town.

“For example, customers may have a coffee preference or dietary need first thing in the morning,” Alex Ross, vice president of business development at Shipt, told PYMNTS in an interview posted in April. “With Shipt, they can now access those items without having to leave their room.”

Two months before that, in February, Shipt launched an accelerator program called LadderUp that accepted applications through March 6.

The program helps local small businesses compete by providing capital, eCommerce tech assistance and education. Each retailer who completes LadderUp will receive $5,000 to invest in their eCommerce.
