Marshalls launched its new eCommerce store at Marshalls.com on Tuesday (Sept. 24). The site is a mix of curated products that continuously change, according to a release by the company.
The site will offer many of the products that are also in the store, like shoes, beauty products and home accessories, but will also sell online-exclusive items. In the same way that every Marshalls store has its own assortment of items, the retail company said the website will also feature new brands and accessories daily.
Customers can return items online or at the more than 1,100 Marshalls locations throughout the country.
Some of the special features of the online store are meant to be fun and innovative. For example, Swipe to Shop mimics the behavior of a dating site like Tinder, where shoppers can swipe left or right on pieces they want to buy or save for a later time. There are also specially curated shops for popular items and trends, including the Fall Style Shop, The Designer Shop and Made in Italy. The curated items will refresh often.
“We are thrilled to introduce Marshalls.com, which allows customers to shop Marshalls anytime,” said Mark DeOliveira, executive vice president of TJX Digital US. “This site will feature a unique assortment of the brands and values that Marshalls is known for, and also offer customers the ability to shop through fun, interactive features and curations. We are excited for customers to experience the brand in this new way.”
According to the company, buyers for the store travel the world looking for online items in the same way they do for the store.
