Berlin-based Phone-as-a-Service company everphone has raised 32 million euros (about $32 million) in an expanded Series C funding round, which it will use to continue to expand globally, develop its products and increase the number of devices in service.
“Our mission is to enable companies to improve their daily operations and to act more environmentally friendly as part of the circular economy,” everphone CEO and Founder Jan Dzulko said in a LinkedIn post. “The extended funding round supports us to advance this mission further.”
The company offers a subscription service in which it takes care of companies’ mobile device needs, including phones, tablets and laptops. It procures, manages and maintains these devices, and provides Mobile Device Management software that tracks inventory, centralizes the distribution of software and performs other services, according to the company’s website.
The company reported in the post that it earned 60 million euros (about $60 million) in annually recurring revenue in 2021 — making that its most successful year to date — and that it currently services 1,000 companies with more than 230,000 devices.
Phone-as-a-Service relieves companies of the chores of maintaining devices for their employees. Device management has become a necessity for just about every organization, but that isn’t their primary business, Dzulko told PYMNTS in a December interview.

“An enterprise managing a large fleet of 50,000 devices requires a lot of IT help desk employees to take care of all of the users’ requests and problems, shipping out new phones, etc.,” Dzulko said. “But it’s obviously not their business to manage smartphones.”
everphone’s latest fundraise comes about six years after the company’s founding and about nine months after it raised $200 million and launched in the U.S. with a headquarters in Miami.
