Rakuten In Store Network, an advertising platform to help push in-store sales and traffic with rewards programs linked to cards, has announced a partnership with engagement platform Prodege to increase its card-linked offers and allow for Prodege members to get gift cards and cash back when shopping at certain retailers.
“Offering in-store rewards to our Swagbucks, MyPoints, ShopAtHome and InboxDollars members is a natural extension of our online rewards business,” said Prodege CEO and Chairman Chuck Davis. “We pride ourselves on creating rewarding moments for consumers, so Rakuten’s impressive card-linked offer network platform was the best choice for helping us drive in-store traffic while providing our members with more opportunities to be rewarded just for shopping.”
The move helps to greatly increase the reach of Rakuten In Store Network, which already has 30,000 locations around the country.
“Our scale appeals to national retailers that want to use card-linked offers to drive in-store sales through digital channels,” said Erin Warren, general manager of Rakuten In Store Network at Rakuten. “Opening this distribution channel makes it simpler for merchants to reach shoppers who are keen to be rewarded for their everyday, real-life purchases. Beyond their favorite retail stores, there is enormous potential for shoppers to earn Cash Back and other rewards on purchases like restaurants, groceries, and much more to come. The possibilities are endless.”
Prodege has a slew of websites that give members free gift cards and cash for simply doing things online. With its engagement of a global audience of 100 million people, Prodege aids merchants and helps them to meet their marketing goals as well as attract new and return customers with loyalty options.
Rakuten In Store Network also reaches millions, and it helps merchants to grow sales, loyalty and traffic in stores. Rakuten In Store Network is under the umbrella of Cash Back rewards outfit Rakuten, and its library of card-linked offers.
