Hazeltree, which works on integrated treasury management and portfolio finance solutions for investment managers, has announced a joint solution with Goldman Sachs to help with streamlining treasury management with integrated global payments and cross-border capabilities, according to a press release Tuesday (March 2).
The solution will work to reduce costs for treasurers managing cash and foreign exchange, according to the release, putting Hazeltree’s treasury management, security and payment workflow solutions with Goldman’s tech-forward solutions.
The benefits, according to the release, include a comprehensive multibank treasury and cash management portal. This will aggregate cash balances across all banking relationships and move global payments, a streamlined process for moving cash either domestically or overseas, and real-time payment tracking for reduced payment-related operational breaks.
There will be comprehensive cash forecasting and optimization, cash sweeps with bundled integration, integrated currency exposure management, hedging and execution, more bank-free transparency and better risk management.
“We are focused on making it easy for our clients to manage their treasury function,” said Sameer Shalaby, president and CEO of Hazeltree. “Partnering with Goldman Sachs Transaction Banking allows us to deliver integrated treasury and payments solution in a cost-effective and scalable manner, which is critically important for [all] of our clients.”
“We’re excited to be partnering with Hazeltree to offer our innovative yet simplified Global Payments solution to investments management firms,” said Hari Moorthy, global head of Transaction Banking at Goldman Sachs. “We know that our clients want payments around the globe to be fast, transparent and simple. Clients will quickly see these many benefits along with the bonus of competitive pricing.”
Hazeltree also recently worked with JPMorgan on a new liquidity management solution that would aid clients with intricate financial needs.
The partnership allows private fund manager clients to manage multiple bank relations across whole fund structures, onboard complicated legal entities and facilitate numerous transactions via several counterparts, PYMNTS reports.
