One of the perhaps more surprising industries that’s seen a transformation in the digital age within the past few years are restaurants.
As a direct result of instant access to almost anything online, consumers in turn are also seeking quicker food service options. With that comes the advent of companies like LevelUp, which provides mobile apps for the restaurant industry to better engage with those consumers.
Today, LevelUp announces a new hire to its team with the newly appointed VP of agency strategy, Theresa Dold. She comes to the company with experience in leading the sweetgreen app forward starting back in 2013. Starting in her new role at LevelUp, Dold will be responsible for developing the company’s agency’s solutions while ramping up platform, features, tools and integrations adoption by consumers and future partners.
The LevelUp Agency is the company’s in-house application development department that assists restaurants in building out tailored apps.
LevelUp’s chief technology officer, Harald Prokop, commented in the company’s press release about this new hire for the team. He said, “Theresa’s extensive background implementing marketing and product strategies in the restaurant industry makes her a phenomenal additional to the LevelUp team. As the number of consumers using technology to interact with their favorite restaurants increases, Theresa’s expertise will be key in advancing our product development to deliver an unparalleled experience to our partners and their customers.”
