To provide a complimentary virtual wedding experience for couples and their families amid social distancing, Jared unveiled #LoveCantWait campaign. The jeweler is offering tools and support to 1,000 couples to “make the biggest day of their lives an unforgettable moment despite the current circumstance” through the effort, according to an announcement.
The online platform of Jared will let couples make a personalized wedding experience that the retailer says will closely resemble that of an event that takes place in person. The service encompasses the choosing of a date; the selection for a theme and a background; identification of officiants and speakers; creation and management of a guest list and evite; and the capturing and archiving of the occasion.
Couples can also make reservations for live virtual consultations with experts from the retailer for advice on choosing jewelry as well as sizing and more. Chief Marketing Officer and Jared Executive General Manager Bill Brace said per the announcement, “We’ve learned that countless couples across the nation who’ve been impacted still want to celebrate their wedding day in a big way, but need support to bring their special moment to life.”
Brace continued, “We are a brand that stands for helping our customers celebrate life and express love, so we are stepping up during these unprecedented times to do our part to bring joy to 1,000 couples. We believe love can’t and shouldn’t wait.” Couples, for their part, can register for a virtual ceremony through the web and then they can book their ceremony date and personalize elements such as invitations.
In separate news, David’s Bridal put forward its virtual stylist and appointment experience. Over 300 stylists from across the country will be available for customers to “guide, inspire, personalize, and help bring their wedding vision to life” per a past announcement.
Clients have the ability to text with a virtual stylists with the program and receive advice on measuring as well as discovering a dress that is ready to ship, among other endeavors.
