Software-as-a-service (SaaS) firms Bambuser and Perfect Corp are collaborating to offer an advanced user experience for virtual try-on sessions and shopping, and are partnering with Parfums Christian Dior to provide clients with private consultations.
By integrating both solutions, Perfect Corp and Bambuser aim to offer a digital shopping experience where “hyper-realistic makeovers” are available in face-to-face interactive video sessions, according to a press release on Tuesday (Sept. 6).
“By combining our respective expertise, we are delivering another powerful solution that will increase consumer satisfaction and confidence, providing brands with a sustainable option to showcase their makeup products conveniently and instantly for shoppers to try during online consultations,” Perfect Corp. Founder and CEO Alice Chang said in the release.

Beauty technology platform Perfect Corp uses AR (augmented reality) and AI (artificial intelligence) to offer the 3D AR face technology tool Virtual Try-On, Makeup AR, which provides users with a “true-to-life” makeover experience in real-time.
Video streaming platform Bambuser launched Live Shopping in 2019 with its One-to-Many solution and then released One-to-One last year, which offered two-way video calls with shopping capabilities, according to the release.
