Over the past few months, we’ve certainly seen and reported on a lot of action involving the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). From banks challenging its enforcement to advocacy groups suing it to legislators criticizing its director, the CFPB has come under fire quite a bit lately.
As such, it may come as no surprise that the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the office of the Florida Attorney General have announced plans to hold a press conference today at noon regarding “a major consumer fraud enforcement initiative.”
Anyone interested in attending should go to either the Office of Florida Attorney General or call in on the provided conference line at: 1-800-230-1074 (code 423786).
