New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU), Vermont’s largest financial institution, has chosen credit union service organization PSCU for credit and debit card processing support and services, according to a press release emailed to PYMNTS on Tuesday (Nov. 30).
Headquartered in Williston, Vermont, and founded in 1961, NEFCU serves 12 counties in Vermont and four counties in New Hampshire, with members totaling over 95,000. The credit union handles more than $1.9 billion in assets.
In its search for a processing partner, NEFCU was seeking an organization that could deliver enhanced digital solutions and offerings to its members.

“Our ultimate goal has been, and always will be, to provide our members with the highest standard of service to exceed their expectations and needs,” said Susan Leonard, SVP and chief financial officer at NEFCU.
She added that working with PSCU will help give NEFCU members expanded digital and mobile services. NEFCU will start credit services with PSCU in 2022 and debit services in 2023.
