Delivery and fulfillment firm Delivery Solutions has announced that Walmart’s GoLocal service is joining its platform as a last-mile delivery provider, according to a Wednesday (March 9) press release.
“The collaboration will further enable Delivery Solutions customers to deploy an omnichannel shopping experience complete with express, same-day and next-day delivery, providing retailers of all sizes with reliable, fast and efficient delivery,” the Plano, Texas-based company said in the release.
Founded in 2018, Delivery Solutions offers services that include delivery intelligence while the consumer is browsing, post-purchase tracking, visibility and communication, the release stated.
Advances in mobility and online access have left customers expecting a wider range of delivery options in the post-pandemic world, which it provides as “the inventor” of same-day delivery aggregation and orchestration, according to the release.
“We’re thrilled to join the Delivery Solutions platform as a reliable delivery service provider and share our expertise in local delivery with businesses of all sizes,” said Walmart GoLocal General Manager Harsit Patel in the release. “Due to our coverage, cost and extensive delivery capabilities, we know that Delivery Solutions customers will find the fulfillment options that best fit their needs through Walmart GoLocal, including delivery in as little as 30 minutes.”
Walmart GoLocal is white-label Delivery-as-a-Service offering that helps businesses grow by using Walmart’s delivery capabilities and nationwide coverage.
This partnership comes just weeks after another collaboration between Walmart GoLocal and Cognetry Labs, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered, end-to-end eCommerce software provider for grocery stores.

The companies said they joined forces to develop a turnkey solution for mid-sized and independent grocers to operate digital delivery businesses, including access the Walmart delivery network.
Walmart GoLocal launched in August, with Home Depot signing on as its first retail client two months later. The partnership lets Home Depot offer same-day or next-day delivery of tools, fasteners, paint and other supplies.
