Vivid Seats has launched a ticketing platform for Capital One cardholders that will allow customers to redeem rewards for tickets to more than 500,000 events, the Chicago-based ticket seller announced Wednesday (March 30).
Dubbed Capital One Entertainment, the expanded 4-year-old partnership with Capital One Financial promises to unlock “exclusive access to unforgettable experiences across sports, music, dining and more” for Capital One rewards cardholders.
In addition to tickets, Vivid Seats said cardholders will be able to purchase premium ticket packages, events and onsite perks, including premier seats, access passes, event merchandise and take-home gifts.
“We are proud to deepen our partnership with Capital One and create this new experience for Capital One customers,” said Vivid Seats Chief Commercial Officer Geoff Lester in a statement. “We look forward to providing them with seamless access to unforgettable experiences by leveraging our marketplace inventory, technology, fulfillment and customer service capabilities in a way only Vivid Seats can.”
Monica Weaver, a Capital One vice president, said in a statement that the bank wants to make it easier for customers to have special experiences.
In December, Vivid Seats acquired the sports gaming app Betcha Sports in a deal worth up to $65 million.

The company said it would pay $25 million in Vivid Seats equity, and an additional payment of $40 million in earnouts that, if earned, will be made in cash and equity.
“The acquisition of Betcha will allow Vivid Seats to extend its marketplace technology into the online gaming sector, allowing millions of Vivid Seats customers to participate in daily fantasy gaming in a new way,” the company said in a statement at the time.
