Digital River, a global commerce enabler for established and growing brands, has hired a new chief financial officer (CFO) in Keith Bush, according to a Tuesday (March 22) press release emailed to PYMNTS.
Bush was previously CFO and senior vice president for Deluxe Corporation. There, he worked with team members on finance, accounting, treasury, tax, investor relations and more.
He brings a background in financial planning and analysis at numerous brands, including American Airlines. In that position, Bush worked on a merger between that airline and US Airways, in which he built a finance organization and integrated numerous functions, the release stated.
Before that, Bush worked at Northwest Airlines for 14 years in finance roles.
Bush said in the release that industry and organizational transformations have been recurring themes for his professional life.
Digital River’s new fully integrated solution to solve the back end complexities of global eCommerce could be a “major pivot,” he added.
“This company is well-positioned to continue to capitalize on the opportunities that online selling and cross-border commerce represent,” he said in the release. “I’m excited to join the team at the most dynamic time in the history of eCommerce — and with a company that has been there from the very beginning.”
Digital River CEO Adam Coyle added in the release that Bush’s “prior experience in senior financial leadership roles at some of the nation’s best-known public companies will help us take Digital River to the next level, as we continue to expand our partner ecosystem and accelerate global eCommerce growth for our clients. … We believe Keith’s knowledge and skills will help us sustain our goal of continued expansion well into the future.”
In January, Digital River debuted its new Drop-in Checkout feature, which lets brands accept payments more quickly without big investments in development or resources.
