Squarespace is adding invoicing tools to the Squarespace Scheduling portal, a move that helps customers manage the invoicing process and get paid for their time, according to a company press release Thursday (Aug. 4).
The company launched Squarespace Scheduling in 2020 in an effort to support customers looking for tools to run their booking businesses, per the release. The Invoices tool is the latest addition to the portal and allows customers to create and send custom invoices, manage and track invoices and accept secure payments.
The Invoicing feature also includes tools to create invoices with auto-filled appointment types, custom line items and personalized messages. Users can view, save and duplicate their invoices for future uses, streamlining the process of juggling multiple services.
Customers can send invoices directly to clients using a unique shared link and payments are processed safely and securely. Customers can also track the status of their invoices through a single dashboard that displays all sent, outstanding and paid invoices in real time.
“Squarespace is dedicated to providing creators and entrepreneurs with all the tools they need to thrive in one seamless, integrated platform,” the company said in the release. “Squarespace Scheduling Invoices joins a range of recent Commerce product updates dedicated to helping customers diversify revenue streams and get the most out of how they sell online.”
Among Squarespace’s other recent new products are automated product videos, shipping labels, product reviews, shipping profiles import and discount emails.
