Global Digital Shopping - Brazil

The Global Digital Shopping Index: Brazil Edition, a PYMNTS and Cybersource collaboration, examines how the country’s consumers are shifting their shopping habits and preferences amid significant social and economic changes. It is based on a survey of 2,105 consumers and 502 merchants in Brazil and analyzes how the nation’s merchants can navigate its shifting retail landscape as part of a larger series examining four key markets around the world.
Inside the March report:
  • 46 percent: Share of Brazilian consumers who have preferred to buy goods digitally since the pandemic began
  • 36 percent: Increase in the use of mobile channels for product purchases in Brazil
  • 20 percent: Portion of Brazilian consumers who used mobile devices to make their most recent purchases
